Hand bowl
2022 Cast bronze drinking fountain.
Part of the Everyday Rituals, this bronze cast drinking fountain fits in my hand to give water to my dog Chichí.
Our ritual together is to hydrate ourselves. When I drink water, I always treat her by putting my hand as a container bowl. This drinking bowl was created to cover the joints of the fingers where the water used to slide. Now it is an object that only Chichí and I share.
